Before eating something, we usually look at it. What we see it normally gives us a first impression and we classify the food: is it elegant? Is it rustic?
This course will be divided into two sections: the first theorical part (about 45 minutes) by the foodblogger and architect Roberta Restelli, specialized in the art of plating, and a second practical section (about three hours) by chef Daniela Cicioni.
During the practical part, students will work independently or in small groups, and do two plating sections.
This course aim to teach you to evaluate the right colours, shape and texture to perfectly plate your dish.
To who is the course addressed?
The course is dedicated to professionists or amateur who want to learn everything about the art of plating.
Material you need to bring with you:
Paper, pen, colours and ruler are requested for this course.
What’s included in your tuition fee:
Participation, recipe book, coffee break, lunch break and final tasting.
At the end of the course you will get a certificate signed by the teacher.
